  • this is great! but how did you install a filter? this is the only part stopping me from making my own.

  • @IsItRuddorRoach Thanks! We ran the hose, that goes to the water fall, through a plastic container filled with plastic dish washing scrubbies. You have to clean it out almost weekly but it works. We keep the container in the pond under the water. The pond plants hide it.

  • @TheRuss70 Yes they do. The pond is a couple of feet deep at it's deepest. As long as it doesn't freeze solid they are ok. Generally anything deeper than 18inches is good for Missouri.

  • @Feonalilly We have lost some fish to what we think might be Herons. This pond now has netting over it.

  • @MadreRaven It was a gift so I don't remember exactly. I think it was 15' X 15'.
