Elaha soroor left the competetion but now she is back hoping to win the next Afghan star similar to American Idol. In a conservative society like Afghanistan you need to be very brave to participate in TV programmes like this whilst many Afghan women dare to show their faces or ditch their Burgas.
I think she is prepared to fight her way through and be a role model for others. Anyway, she has got my respect and support. Good luck Elaha Jaan.

I think we all need to understand that you will definately be affected by biases whenever you step into the refugees world . My suggestion to you all would be; it is a good time to reflect on your own behaviour and see if anything has changed you & your lives before judging others. Yes she was brought up in Iran so be it, it definitely takes her sometimes to learn proper Afghani Accent. Problem is not her accent, we create problems bcoz we Afghan are too judgemental.
