2010 Golden Melody Best New Artist Lala Xu released new album "Limit" on 9.05.2010. Not only has her tremendous singing technique improved, her creative composing/lyric writing has also reached brand new heights.

"Limit" was written during her very public breakup with fellow Million Dollar Star contestant and having received her Best New Artist award. The amount of emotional turmoil and pressure hoisted on her tiny shoulders was too much to bear that Lala had moments of giving up her music career (and the many cons of the Ent industry).

I love how this song fully expresses her emotional experience while producing this album. Lala does not "scream out" her frustrations, rather, she uses that wildly languid quality and superb attention to detail to convey that she has reached her "limit." To me, this is a deeper portrayal of the word than say a more shallow presentation...like a scream-fest.
