"Uniting the provinces Italy"

With the conclusion of the Samnite Wars, Rome had consolidated its position as master of central Italy.
The Republic had control of the provinces of Latium with the capital of Roma, Campania with the town of Capua and Picenum with the town of Ancona.
Sextus the notorius diplomat moves north to acquire trade rights with the Gauls.
Publius Cornelius Scipio moves to Roma to rule there with his good managerial abilities and his ability to bring in 10% more on taxes.
Lucius Fabius Maximus stays in Capua with his 15% increase in trade and Tiberius Iunius Brutus rules in Ancona. All three the provinces immediately raise taxes to the maximum to increase the flow of money and to decrease population growth.
Capua start contructing a Governor's Palace, in Roma Scipio starts constructing an Aqueduct to increase the health of the capital and Brutus starts construction on praved roads in Ancona.
The republic of Rome pushed south east to take the Samnium town of Corfinium. With the Romans laying seige to the Samnium capital in 280 BC, the Greek City States town of Tarentum in Apulia got nervous and the Pyrrhric War was inevitable.
The legions in the south east under the control of Quintus marched on to walls of Corfinium in 279 BC, battle was about to take place.
Can the Republic increase their control of Italy by capturing the province of Samnium or will the Samnium rebels under the rule of Aethon be victors over the Romans?

the one thing that is NOT total realism about this game is that there is no civil war. Rome had several times in its history fought amongst itself, to ignore that is foolish.
