@RotardHK In terms of overall efficiency the helicopter’s time for transportation and preparation (compared to transporting and erecting a crane) is superior to the crane. And it leaves no footprints whatsoever.
But you’ll have to choose your technique based on the different factors concerning each specific job. A mobile or stationary crane is perfect for many, many, operations. This mission was done on an isolated island in the archipelago, on top of mountain.

@RotardHK Well, to be honest, this method is definitely a lot faster than a crane. In fact, the carpenters’ pace is the only limiting factor when it comes to the efficiency of the job. The helicopter will be on site and ready to mount the next piece within 1-2 minutes after mounting a section. That is faster than it takes for the carpenters to make the final attachments of the previous section.
