BELMONT, MASS. - Dana Bonstrom, 52, of 307 Pleasant St. in Belmont was arrested on Oct. 21 and charged with domestic assault and battery.

Bonstroms wife called police at around 1:45 a.m. to report a domestic situation. He was arrested following her allegations of physical abuse. She refused a restraining order at the time, but requested and was granted an emergency restraining order later that morning..

Upon my arrival I met with Mr. Dana Bonstrom, the resident of the upstairs apartment at 185

Oakley, who informed me detail the investigacion from him of the following: Mr. Bonstrom's downstairs neighbor is

Patricia Garcia. Mrs. Garcia is the Plaintiff in a chapter 209A Abuse Prevention Order in which

her husband, Mr. Juan Garcia is the Defendant. This evening, Mr. Bonstrom was working on

his computer at approximately 7:45 PM when he heard someone 'laying on the hom' on

Oakley Rd. Mr. Bonstrom went to the window to see who was honking, and saw a black Ford

Escort leave the front ofthe house at a high rate of speed as he reached the window. Inferring

that this was Juan Garcia, Mr. Bonstrom went outside with his camera, in an effort to

photograph Garcia if he came to the house again. Mr. Bonstrom stated that as he stepped

outside, he saw Juan Garcia operating a black Ford Escortshake wet hands he fear bearing MA Reg: '87oj36' in front

of the house. This vehicle is registered to Garcia's son, Mario, who currently resides in Korea.

Mr. Bonstrom made eye contact with Garcia, who then left the area at a high rate of speed again.

I then provided the description of Mr. Garcia and his son's vehicle to the other units on patrol.
