great video i love those old train sets they dont make them like that at lionel anymore its all made over in china today i got my kids a few modern lionel train sets and i opened some of them up to see how they tick there made diffrently alot cheaper today use can motors : -[

Nice to see the old equipment running.
Your one light on the grade crossing signal is staying on because the insulation is worn on the contactor clip. This is a common issue with an easy fix. Simply put a strip of electrical tape on the clip. That will insulate the clip until the metal wheels of the train bridge the circut to cause the lights to come on and blink.
@TheDonmaster99 We have not experienced that yet, but it is certainly possible that we will.

So true. We used to take Dad to a model train shop in New Cumberland, PA . They've still got some of the old fashioned Lionel trains, so if you ever get to that part of the country, do stop in and tell them we sent you.Thanks for the tip on the crossing signal. too.
