i wish it was this easy hahah im studying to become a lawyer

I think the point of this entire movie, and why Elle Woods get a 179, is that she is actually brilliant. She always has been, but only seems ditzy because of how she looks and her personality. But brilliance is more than just SEEMING smart, which is what Elle Woods has and that is actually how she gets a 179. She simply channeled something she already had.

are you fucking kidding me right now? this is so stupid. as someone who just graduated with their bachelors degree, i want to punch her in the face. -___-. and i enjoyed this movie when i was younger.

@ericpress1 hey, I was wondering how they are actually calculated? How does one get into college over there? I'm from Australia and lil curious :)

what is the most you can get?
-
@omgcrayonz that really is untrue. i know many people(myself included)who have gone up 15 points from studying. Its a matter of learning the right tricks and test techniques.
-
@omgcrayonz Considering that the lowest possible score is 120, and the highest is 180, you are right.
It would be highly unlikely that just studying for the LSAT would raise your score from the near very bottom to one point shy of a perfect score, and I have yet to find a legitimate documented perfect score, but I am sure someone has done it the 53 year history of the exam. But that is the beauty of movies, a person could look like a complete dummy and get a 179 on the LSAT :-)

@punkofmudd whats hard to believe is anyone going from a 143 to a 179. the LSAT isn't really something you can "study". its about your general ability to read/understand information. its hard to even move up 5 points during the entire time you study, let alone 36 points.

this makes me feel really good about getting into Uni.

OMG whats really funny is I just worked on that opera jazz music question lastttt week! lol wow... at least they used a real LSAT question
OK... True, Its basically impossible that she studied her way into a 179. With that being said 1) general audiences aren't familiar with the LSAT and don't know/care what the numbers mean. 2) To enjoy any movie, you have to accept its premises uncritically... Its called the suspension of disbelief. The whole movie is ridiculous and is supposed to be. So everyone calm down, and everyone take a breather, and try to just enjoy the movie for what it is.
