It will cost you $250 to have Apple change it! IPODS suck and will never own one. There are many reasons why i hate them.

I wish that Ipod would just have made something that ran on a couple double A or tripple A nickel metalk hydride batteries.

its not that hard... and a lot cheaper than having someone do it for you, especially if you can get a cheap battery somwhere. i got a 1100mAh battery on ebay buy it now for 6.89 with free shipping, and it works great

Just managed to change battery on my ipod. Opened the cover gently using a knife (be careful!) Used a replacement battery from ebay, and it was all good. Open from the bottom edges, away from the screen and make sure that when you put it back together, the memory is still connected as it isn't secured in place (top right corner, opposite the battery connection)
