  • Who is the conductor? Giulini????

She sounds so wonderful, I like her free tempi and her rubati.....right for the early verdi...she was in her prime one of the greatest

  • @doperasinger What's odd is that Aprile Millo is so great this remains my favorite version notwithstanding that what you say is absolutely true.

  • Aprile Millo is my favorite Verdi soprano, after Leontyne Price. However, unlike the sublime Leontyne Price, she is unable to handle the more nimble passages in the second part of this aria.

  • Woman of color Martina Arroyo owns this role.

  • do you know what it means? She is dignified and full of plangent tone that Cigna and Barbieri who were interviewed in the audience called the best singing of the night. Hate elsewhere, this is a divine voice. Brava Millo

  • Aprile is mesmerizing; Inez sounds like they pulled her out of the public

  • POOR INEZ! LOLOLOLOLOLOL
