This is from a series of ancient, pre-YouTube poetry videos produced between 1990 and 1995 uploaded for archive purposes. They were shot using a Super-8 film camera. The raw footage was transferred to VHS, The audio was recorded onto a blank VHS tape. Editing and production was accomplished using three VHS tape decks; that's where the moire effects come from. Earlier this year I finally got the VHS transferred to DVD, now converted to flv.
"Wanderlust" - Footage from Chicago Heights, 1989 and 1990.
The titling came from my first computer, a 1985 Radio Shack computer running BASIC with cassette tape drive storage.
