This is true, this was reported in canadian news shortly after it happened. The people pulling down the statue were brought in by the US forces and were not even iraqi, the american flag was meant for long-term history books and archives and they made it look like shortly after they were asked not to do that by command because they were to be seen as liberators not conquerers. The embedded media were made to be all buddy-buddy with the troops to add bias and their material was censored as well

i remember watching that on tv when i was like 14 now six years later i joined the marines, and coincidently got stationed with the same unit that pulled this statue down, 2d tank battalion. i know a ssgt has home videos of it an i kno damn sure that nigga wasnt in on a "hoax" lmao u dont gotta overthink everything.. u kno things are made up on both sides...

The toppling of Saddam Hussein's statue in Baghdad was a staged event documented in a report commissioned by the US Army itself called "On Point". Only a few media outlets in the West reported this, the Los Angeles Times by David Zucchino, being one of them.

Mainstream media did not report this as it would have contradicted their earlier reporting of this event. People in the West too often blindly accept without question what is shown on TV. Question everything!!

Wow dont these reporters sure feels stupid now. The whole country was Liberated and all the pain and horror caused by Sadaam Husein is over. Americans are now leaving the country to the people. My friend just came back from iraq and was emotianly chamged for life by all the prayers and support he received from the Iraqi poeple while he was there. They are actually voting there now. Most dont like George bush, but like it or not, what he did was amazing.
