Your talk was sounding pretty good up until here. Jesus is not Yaweh/Jehovah. Colossians 1:15 tells us that Jesus is a creation of God. Jesus is inferior to God as he states many times, the common misconception about his words saying "the father and I are one" is merely a metaphor as you would say a husband and wife are "one". Once you realize this you will read the scripture more accurately and discern Jesus as God's son and our savior, but not the almighty god of old testament.

  • @TruthSeekingOne Part of the heresy threatening the Colossian church was their denial of Christ’s deity. The verse you refer to is part of Paul’s DEFENSE of Jesus’ deity! From John 1: In the beginning was the Word & the Word was with God & the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him & the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us. Jesus is part of the triune Godhead and is our Creator, Judge and redeeming Savior

  • @CreationMinistries No don't confused the verses, it says Christ is the fistborn creature of all creation. In the beginning Jesus was an angel in heaven with God as it states in John 1:2. Trinitarians like to use John 1:1 but they do not read the rest of the scripture there, and by simply adding the letter "A" by the word God in verse 1 you can simply see that Jesus had a supernatural status of that above humankind. Satan and Jesus are both called Gods, but there is only one almighty YHWH.

  • @TruthSeekingOne You can add words to change God's Word to say anything it does not say. The term "fristborn" is saying Jesus is the eternal, first in line Creator.

Hebrews 1: 1-4 God Has in these last days spoken to us by his Son whom he hath appointed heir of all things by whom also he made the worlds; the express image of his person when he had purged our sins sat down on the right hand of the Majesty being made so much better than the angels -He was never an angel as was Lucifer
