As a beginner dancer, do you feel like everyone else in the class is picking up the steps quicker than you? Well here's a smart tip to pick up choreography quickly. Make sure you've got a clear view of yourself in the mirror, and don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone and take your turn at the front. Make sure you're always standing behind the choreographer. Sounds obvious, right? But what if the choreographer turns to the side, and does most of the dance facing this way, and now you're in front of the choreographer and you're learning the dance over your shoulder, backwards? It will slow you down. Now you want to get value for money -- you've paid for the class, you want to get the most out of your dance class.
