Anyway, we Bulleteers are not going to assist the Indian Govt on this point of policy... Bulleteers would throng Marsimek La, Chushul & Hanle in numbers!

Marsimek La is at a higher altitude than Khardung La but, the Indian Govt., & Army do not want to divert the heavy flow of traffic towards a point close to china, I think this is wrong policy by the Indian Govt! china has developed, promoted & settled its citizens along the Arunachal border, they have built rail roads, promoted the areas along Arunachal border for tourism.
Why don't we too do the same, why keep the area prone to further stealthy visits by china!?

Fascinating! I've read about Marsimek La before. It seems like a real journey for anyone to get there - which is surely part of the appeal! Greetings from Colorado, USA (we have big mountains here too, but not THAT big).
