Across the Universe Review

I LOVED the movie! so, I decided why not do a review of it! Since that's pretty much all I do is watch movies and get on youtube! Sorry for the overuse of some words...Was DRUNK...haha j/k! Was I slurring? NO!

well that just shows the difference in taste in movies. The whole movie is a metaphor but it's hard to see if you're small minded. :)

@HotStud1124 I honestly didn't like it, because I thought it liked a lot of character development,

like characters just pop in and out of nowhere =P

and some parts I thought were corny, like when the asian girl sings I wanna hold your hand and walks in the middle of the football practice =P

but that's just my opinion =P

other than that I thought the soundtrack was still pretty well done, and there are a lot of messages I found, and some I didn't realize were there the first time seeing it

@JustinSuhr4 You have a valid point with the character development. I think a lot of those characters were taken from historical figures and without that prior history you don't get a lot of that backstory. Like the male guitar player was metaphorical of Jimi Hendrix and the Female vocalist, his love interest,was supposed to be Janice jopplin (sp?). So there's a lot there that the director tried to reflect of past events. And you're totally right on the corny. I just had to accept it;) lol

dude! i saw that this past weekend, as u know..... it reeely is alot to take in at once, it so "trippy" as my sister sed alot how it's all like the editor of it was high and messed up colors and junk, hehe, so it was pretty good and yes, i DID sing along!

Yeah, it's a LOT to take in...I've seen it ten times already, and I'm STILL noticing new things...Like in the scene where she's trying to get into the building at the end...they have their hands out, than in the next scene sticks in their hands, and in the next scene they're gone again....CRAZY! Yeah, the early 70's were the time of acid and shrooms so she did that on purpose! but it WAS crazy! glad you liked it! You KNOW the words? NICE! hasta!
