No, these aren't the weekend competitions. You can go look for them somewhere else. Also, please be patient...for some reason, the YouTube uploader is being stupid right now. If it says the video is unavailable, you should check back several hours from now. It happens from time to time, and it's site-wide.
Race #1
Wario's Gold Mine
Okay, I'm doing really well here. I took a lead from the start and was able to hold onto it for two laps. However, as it seems, there are around two or three people here who, for some reason, have really sharp aim with Green Shells. Thrown backwards. While turning. I don't know how they do that, but it cost me most of the races in that room. There were previous races in Grumble Volcano, Sherbet Land, Waluigi Stadium, among others, where I suddenly drop a lot of positions near the end, like it was some sort of conspiracy against me. Eventually, I was able to remain unattacked and claimed 1st place, and I never got any lower than 2nd place from that point onward. I suppose theyre not as good at firing Green Shells forward...or they've chosen a differet victim.
Race #2
N64 Mario Raceway
Here's the Sneakster on Automatic. Man, this was a tough bike to get used to. The first race in this room was Rainbow Road, certainly not the best course for getting to know the ropes of a vehicle you rarely ever use. I've never put this bike on Automatic before, and wow, does it feel weird. It barely turns at first, but as you hold the Wii Wheel in the tilted position, it turns more and more. It's also very prone to oversteer during banked turns, so I have to play with a lot of precision and restraint. It looks like any other vehicle on Automatic from this video, but it really isn't. In this race, my main adversary and person to beat was ベイダー (Vader) who, while not quite a 9999 VR player, is getting close to one. He used Rosalina in this room, and while he didn't make much of a strong showing at the beginning, he crept up from the rest of the pack.
Battle #1
Delfino Pier
It's said that Daisy is cheap...but that's only regarding the races. In Battle Mode, anything goes, and I don't think the character you choose is too important. (Well, the lightweights have an easier time maneuvering around stuff, and the heavyweights won't get bumped off of stuff so easily, I suppose.) So I used Daisy for this. I got a lot of Mushrooms, but the way the game deals with lag means the players might not necessarily be where you see them, so I couldn't nab anyone else's balloons with them. Nevertheless, I ended this game with 6 points, which represents over half of the Red Team's points by the end. The score distribution is pretty weird, since everyone else on the Red Team have 2 or fewer points whereas the Blue Team's points are more linear. Because of that, it seems, I was ranked 2nd overall and gained points despite losing. I wonder what my teammates were doing...One of them was running through Fake Item Boxes I put; that I can be sure of.
why the hell you drive with automatic drift

@2xCmet And why do you use Manual drift?

Awesome! Delphino Pier is my favorite battle stage! =D I most always pick there for balloon battles. I'm not fond of picking there for coin runners though. Usually I pick Block Plaza for coin runners.

I let other people pick those stages for me. Instead, I pick Chain Chomp Wheel and Cookie Land, since people hardly ver choose those.
