Day 62: Diana visits the South Hebron Hills, where Susiya; an Israeli Settlement is located. Among these hills Diana meets a group of Israelis and foreigners from Taayush Activists. They talk about how the settlers uprooted the Palestinians trees almost three times in the past two weeks! This group joins farmers near the Susiya settlement to harvest their remaining olives after several of their trees were cut down by settlers. Watch Diana also helping them! Diana joins Ezra; whose been volunteering in helping the Palestinians for ten years, on a tour and explains how these settlers have maintained a constant flow of economic destruction, violence, and harassment against the local Palestinians there while consistently trying to illegally expand and confiscate privately-owned land. When the farmers complain to the Israeli security forces, who are in charge of the area, they do nothing, and refuse to interfere when they see Israeli settlers trespassing on Palestinian land. Ezra explains to Diana about how six years ago the residents of Khirbet Jawawis had to flee after successive harassments of settlers that later took their homes and caves! Listen to how Ezra and his group took legal actions against the settlers! Listen to what Ezra and Diana had to tell Jacob Talia, a settler whom the Israelis gave a piece of Land, a land that belongs to the Palestinians! In Gaza, Farah joins her friend Ban who works in a Cancer Aid Institute on a field visit. They visit a Cancer patient who lives in a place where no Human Being can live!

I watch this a year and a half after it was made and wonder what has happened to the attempt to replant the olive trees and also to the woman with cancer. Too bad that there is not a Sleepless update area where each episode can be followed up.

They Settlers they uproot the bushes or the young trees after the Palestinians plant them in the land, they take them and plant them in the settlement .. some sort of harassment to the Palestinians living in that area..

Why are they collecting the sticker bushes? Is it like some sort of food or something? Do the settlers take the bushes before they set them on fire? I suppose someone has to watch more episodes to understand these videos.
