  • This is nice, WAY better than the contemporary mess that I hear nowadays. Thx!

  • Thanks for posting this meaningful gospel gem by Jim Reeves that I can personally relate to. Away from the loud clanging noise heard in many of today's repetitious 'praise' songs - to be alone with God in the sanctuary of His nature, truly is the sabbath of my soul. Sweet peace. God bless you!

  • What a wonderful and colorful depiction of the old Jim Reeves hymn. Thanks for all your hard work. It was worth it.

  • Beautiful and awesome. Nobody has the smooth voice that Jim had. His voice was pure silk. He is right on the cathedral.

  • I view the last rose of summer as a promise ,just like the vanishing rainbow. I view the stars in the evening sky as for-get-me-not's posted in the heavens by angels.I think the Dog was made to be man's best friend to show to all the true importance and power of true loyalty and friendship. Take care ADonovan43

  • My Mum bought the album "We thank thee" by Jim Reeves in the 60's and this was the last track on side 2, happy memories being played on the danset record player and listening to it with my parents, each time I asked Mum to play this, when she played records. Happy Memories. Thanks for the post

  • stop smell the roses and learn who GOD is

  • Since I am Fan of the songs sung by Jim Reeves,I could able to give thanks to Almighty God that He has given a melodious vocal voice to sing praises in the Glory of the Lord Jesus Christ.Jim Reeves is Fentastics in singing no camerision can be done .

  • This is my cathedral..filled with Gentleman Jim's songs!!

  • Despite Reeves' untimely death in 1964, his voice continues to inspire millions around the world. This religious song touches my spirit whenever i hear it, 40 plus years after his death.

  • I was looking for so long for this song. I didn't remember the title or the singer. This song helped to make me give my life in service to God. So inspired...no earthly place needed, only close to Him always, anyplace, any time. Beautiful!
