  • thanks so much for this! Could you tell me if you make the models and then it arranges them, if you could show a walk-through of how you did this it would be great :)

  • Where ar all the people?

  • @MrBattlesword This scene was just a test to see the workflow from CityEngine to UDK.

  • @GUARDIANOFFOR thanks for the comment but if you took the time to look at a few more of our videos it is obvious that CityEngine can do a lot more than doom engine ;)!

  • how do i make a city? and can the buildings be made to fall over if hit?

  • How do i make a city thats getting crushed into wreckness and the player have to drive around the wreck.

  • @GUARDIANOFFOR You missed the point of this video - it doesn't show how powerful is Unreal engine (also known as UDK), it shows CityEngine built into UDK which randomly makes 3D buildings the way goes your road. Basically, all you create is the road - every building and tree is made by the CityEngine, any parameter you want can be changed for individual or whole groups of buildings. Id Tech 4 needs a whole lot of work to make something like that work.

  • @GUARDIANOFFOR this reminds me a lot of corbonfire_city_one and _ four staicmesh witch are dufult in UDK and i think thay have collision blocks just use that insted

  • if i want to render cityengine in 3ds max i cant see water ! what i do wrong ?

  • that is amazing :)
