On 2-20-2001, Trixie our 12 year old Pomeranian woke up with what we called a Brain Thing. She was completely paralyzed. We could have chosen to put her down, but that was not an option for us. Trixie was gone for a while at All Care in Fountain Valley, had numerous tests & all they could say was there was a Brain Lesion on her MRI. She came home and I worked with her all day long to retrain her brain and my Bri worked with her when he was home. Her daughter and best friend Kila was her training partner and support.
She also went in for Electromagnetic Therapy at All Care which I believe worked some wonderful things. All Care is a fantastic place, the Mayo Clinic for animals.
A few months later she was running in the park. Trixie went to the Rainbow Bridge in November of 2002 when she woke us up to say goodbye and died in our arms. It's taken me this long to be able to transfer the VHS tape to digital format, I just wasn't ready to watch it.
Her spirit of strength inspires me, even though "she was just a dog."

God bless you. This is a beautiful tribute. My dog is very ill but I am leaving it in God's hands.

I started crying within the first minute - certainly this song helped! - so I can only imagine what ya'll must have gone thru. BUT look what wonderful results! Bless you for this.

Trixie and Kila.. my lil' furry nieces.. you will always hold a special place in our hearts. Thanks for those special memories.. I loved seeing this!
