Acacia Ridge 2

An afternoon at Brisbane's Acacia Ridge produced some good results. The only place in Brisbane in the current times to see standard gauge locos. Narraow gauge and standard gauge trains work alongside each other at this location.

We start with a brief look around the yards, Electric loco 3735 is awaiting transport north to the coal fields.

Standard gauge locos NR10-NR 77 make an appearance before heading back into the yards.

QRNational 2482D completes a short shunting activity before heading back into the yards also.

The most prominent loco in this video is 8118 during a shunting excersize, various vantage spots were used to film the loco as it completed its task.

2829 heads a container train out, bound for Townsville or Cairns.
