Check out the Berry brothers as well. I challenge anyone to find a dance routine that comes close to the level of difficulty, precision and elegance as this performance.
Come on, this is sooo unnecessary. Even Astaire wouldn't keep up with the elegant athletics of this specific performance (which he once called the "greatest dane performance ever recorded". Come on... If you watch some of MJ's dancing through the years (any "michael jackson dance compilation" or something on those lines should do him some justice) you'll see he was actually an amazing dancer. Truely great, and a great chroreographer as well..
Watch this video carefully! There are four shoes TAPPING, but when you listen it sounds like one!! It's almost incomprehensible and a true MIRACLE what these BROTHERS accomplished achieved. Sit back, light up a stogie and enjoy, that's what i do !!!! WOW..............
@toopoogang I 'am watching this right now and can't believe they are doing this FOUR SHOES tapping as one AMAZING The Hines Bros were right no one will ever come close to reaching their level of spectacualr tap dancing.
Listen carefully to the sound of the TAPS. There are four shoes TAPPING but sounds like ONE. It's truly amazing. Almost a MIRACLE and hard to comprehend the utter unison in which this FEAT (FEET) is accomplished. UNBELIEVABLE to me, it should be UNBELIEVABLE to you. Lay back light up a STOGIE and enjoy. That's what i do.
Without question, they were the best dancers of their generation better than Astaire, and I like Astaire. As good as Gene kelly, though not as versatile. Brilliant, brilliant dancers.
