st co is definitely entitled to some respect. once upon a time (about 10 years ago) they were the true sarawakian champions.

and when it came to the first ever marching band competition (2001?2000?) believe it or not, st joseph kuching were actually afraid of them.

also, do not cover each other... instruments with lower key sounds should be given way... especially the trombones and the trumpets... you guys were too loud and you made it sound like a trumpet and trombone band instead of a marching band that consists of various music instruments... help you juniors equally regardless of their strengths or weaknesses... put in kinds of articulations that are supposed to be in and keep them steady... conclusion: be like what your ex seniors were before...

the balance of the sounds in an open air competition is a hard thing to control..but they should look into the tone quality of the trumpets..
