The terms "excess burden" or "deadweight loss" are used to describe the lost economic activity as a result of a tax. Tax Foundation Senior Economist Gerald Prante explains.
Everything about it! The animation, the voice-over, the simple and concise explanation. This video seemed more like a lecture from an econ class. I wonder if the same principles can be taught like the defferral video, with animation and simpler explanations.
It's just a thought. I thought the video was good, but I would never send to a friend or post to facebook because not quite as effective or engaging as the other one. :)
I think the type and quality of your Tax Deferral video is a lot more effective in teaching these important principles. These aren't as good for widespread dissemination. I can 'handle' it because I was an Econ student, but I suggest you create more videos like that Tax Deferral one. That was a lot more effective.
excellent stuff boys. Now I understand what my shitty book is saying.

austinarchibald, what about the deferral video made it more effective, in your view? I'm curious.
