I like this a lot and wish there was a more recent version of Prine singing this song. Jason Wilbur would do great playing lead on this.

@LeivK Oh yes indeed, John Burns is beyond active! He's still kicking out new tunes and recorded some on his "Johnnybones" CD released June 2010. You can get it from CD Baby. His lyrics are genious and guitar licks are better than ever, if that's possible. He recently did a show in Evanston, IL at a venue called SPACE. John had the audience on a roller coaster of bust out laughs and gentle tears. 'Twas a brilliant show by a brilliant guy.
