  • I am 19yrs old and I LOVE THE MONKEES!!!!!

Its too bad I missed the monkee craze. But I'm gonna try to bring it back :D

  • 9 yrs old tearing into some Captain Crunch cereal and watching the Monkees before I went outside to play was my Saturday launch pad. We were still going to the moon back in those days. Man we had the best of everything except cell phones, plasma screen tv's and remotes. We actually went outside and built jump ramps after watchin Eviel Kenivel for our bicycles and still put clothes pins with playing cards into the spokes to make noise as we rode around. We had fun back then.

  • @Johngalt43 we dont understand any thing u jusg typed

  • my mom used 2 wake me and my sister up witb this sonv and she would yell it as loud as she could

  • I grew up with this show back in the '70s and '80s when aired on television during the afternoons. Great '60s bands and still one of the best without a doubt.

  • im 14 and i love the monkees shows like these are good for kids todays shows suck i think the monkees were good singer and actes why cant they have shows like this kids would love it

  • @mcog2006 i wonder the same thing....

  • OK kids....now you know what us 40 somethings used to watch on TV when we were kids. And it may look a bit strange. But the fact is....these guys were really funny, masters of slapstick and "clean" humor. And rather talented musicians besides, though the show was not a great showcase for them. Among other things, Mike Nesmith created the first "video record" years before the first "rock video" hit the airwaves.

  • @mcog2006 I think they were joking around with the names.

  • I'll be seeing these guys perform next week at Coney Island in Brooklyn.
