Eastwood Airline Folkstar - Slide Demo - Vince Lee

Vince Lee playing the new Airline Folkstar Resonator Guitar. The guitar is tuned DGDGBD and played with a stainless steel slide. There is a mini humbucker in the neck position and a piezo pickup under the biscuit bridge, you can blend the sound between these two pickups by adjusting the middle knob below the resonator cone. This video demonstrated the acoustic sound without amplification.

the guitar is pretty loud acoustically. Not loud enough for a pub show but great for recording. It sounds kinda like a banjo. It is louder than an archtop or thinline semi.

i couldnt see in the video, is this thing plugged in? if not, it souinds great unplugged, if so i would have thought the pickups would have a little more bite.
