This will become a large description which I will keep adding to with links and recommended books and OFCOURSE God's word.

The speaker in the video is Mr David Engelsma who has done a very good job of teaching what the bible says about marriage without compromise for decades.

The plain fact of the matter is that the bible teaches that remarriage while a previous spouse is living is adultery. And that practicing adulterers will not inherit the kingdom of heaven.

  • ScottDaMoose asked the following:

Are you saying if my wife divorces me even though I do not want the divorce I am bound by law to never marry again until she dies?

    _______________________

No, OFCOURSE I am not saying that.

GOD is saying that in His Word.

It is God who wrote the bible, not me.

I am just clearly showing people what God CLEARLY wrote in His Word.

  • Thanks. Rev. Engelsma is truly uncompromising; this is a very clear in the Holy Scripture.

  • Amen!

    This is biblical truth!

God's children love it, most men hate it, but it's still the truth.

  • It is kinda funny that people want to make an exception for the "innocent" party when the most innocent person in the world took on the punishment for all. He also remained single his entire life.

  • Amen!

  • It is a sad truth but within the body of Christ we have tried to justify sin by distorting the word. People get offended about this topic because they refuse to accept God's word as unchanging. My parent's gneration would not divorce even if the marriage was difficult. In cases of emotional or physical violence the spouse would eventually leave but they would not divorce and they would not re-marry.

  • its so hard to do this my wife is now with another man in the church that we used to go to to I hope one day i can do this one day

  • Yes we are bound to our spouse for life.

EVEN IN the case of adultery.

Man mis-uses the Scripture when they teach that if there is adultery, divorce is okay.

IT IS NOT! There are NO exceptions Biblically, or by ANY other means!!!!!!
