Subhannalah. He is my all time favourite. He makes it sound so simple and easy yet soothing and reviving dead hearts. He is also a very humble man, check his visit to Manchester, UK for evidence. May Allah(subhanahu wata'ala) keep him healthy to give us many more years of splendour of unrivalled recitation.

@fist444 @sandrasall yes Sheikh Sudais has visited France before. Here is the video when he was in France. I think it was in 1997. Not sure..

I hope you're not trying to imply that the well respected Qari and Imam of Masjid al Haram is lazy and his not bothering to recite with passion anymore. Ive watched recent videos (2010) of Sheikh Abdurrahman and he sounds as good as ever.
