I think that guy just joined the wrong service. The only exaggerated fears that are right now are the fears of war, and most of the brutal wars we've had we've won [ex. CW,WW1 WW2].Ok, lets look at the # of deaths we had in those wars vs. how many deaths we've had in this war. THis civil war had 600,000+ deaths WW1 and had an estimated millions+ deaths, now whereas our Iraq war right now has had only 4,000-5,000 deaths. If we let fear of fighting get in the way, it's just gonna get much worse.
