  • i've heard of the locking mech failing on some people, how's it on your's?

  • I've carried the Speed-Bump on and off for over a year...never had a problem with the lock failing.

Just get annoyed when it engages when not intended.

  • Kershaw makes great knives.

  • 10-4...yes they do.

  • @HELLZZARMY do you use all your knives or are some just for collection

  • I carry them as part of an EDC...minimum two...usually three.

Part of being lethally armed...along with firearms and other stuff.

So say I have (3) on me the other 200+ aside from the ones in several vehicles, go-bags, vest, and other weapon packs are stored away...or just at home lying around...lol!

  • Have carried the spec bump every day for 2 years now, it truly is the best knife I have ever owned.

  • @kilo199999999 for great prices

  • i'm waiting on mine , allong with some other kershaws and 1 mantis karambit i bought recently !

  • @shummyshum I have had problems I need to send mine in to kershaw

  • Great blade shape.

  • i like the black one more

  • My $.02 - I can't stand the stud lock. If my thumb slides forward even a little, the lock disengages. I carried it twice and went back to my Emerson CQC-13 which is, IMHO, the best tactical folder on the market.

That said, love the reviews JT, keep up the good work!

  • For those wanting to know how to sharpen their spec bump i can offer some advice... The curved portion to the rear can be sharpened with a diamond impregnated kitchen steel... Get a good one no shorter then 10 inches.. Ovals are better then round... you will end up using it alot on all your knives.. The front portion of the blade is flat ground and straight edge... Its the area designed for utility tasks, food prep, ect.. Sharpen it any way you like.. flat DMT, Diamond steel,Sharpmaker, Ect

  • i carried mine for a week and the pocket clip SUCKS!!! its to big, its weak and its at the wrong end of the knife. oh ya its fuck'n ugly too. other than that its a good cutting knife and the sandvic takes and holds a good edge
