Mitt Romney paid 14%

Amazing how much history repeats itself in terms of the issues and how similar the talking points for both parties remain as they were 32 years ago.

The thing is, the GOP really doesn't have to stop looking for the next Reagan. Reagan was a principled, and more importantly in the media age, articulate Conservative. Rick Perry would actually be the most conservative president since Calvin Coolige. There is nothing wrong with looking for a leader like Reagan. However, it is also important 2 remember that Reagan was a ONCE IN A CENTURY LEADER. Christie has his fire, Perry his values, and Newt his agenda.Obama's defeat is the #1 goal.Semper Fi.

Ron Paul 2012

@Liquidreams did you know that Ron Paul helped get Reagan elected ?....he was I think the only person that endorsed reagan

Ron Paul doesn't stand a chance, and I like Ron Paul, but he's not going to win the nomination.

@atlsam1 Your assessment is lunacy! I challenge you right there. You need to understand who pays the lions share of the taxes in the first place. For this we should consult the IRS web stats which shows that the majority of the taxes are indeed paid by the uper 15% who pay 85% of all Federal income taxes. Who pays the other 15%? The 'middle' class, the bottom 50% pay 0 for Fed income, or if they pay any they get it plus MORE back at years end..boy now that's fair isn't it? Lunacy? My fat butt!
