Nice to see a vid where some commenters actually know their shit. PeTA types are notorious for lying and exaggerating. @Ihateducks5 thank you for your input & your experience with pigs. However mankind has been known to do disturbing things...they should be left alone and not mass produced like a cars. Remember Humans can be cruel as well , doesn't mean we go killing all humans.(we had pitbulls & pigs and they never displayed any aggressive behavior) the condition in how they live and their environment can be a contributing factor) personally i would not like to experience what they go through would you ?

Do you guys know that the mother sow will murder their piglets and eat back the dead piglet when food is not enough in wild ? Farrow gate is cruel when you firts time you see if. But it is a efficient way to prevent the mother sow eat back the piglets when it feel starvation.

i dont eat pork but that dont mean i like these animals. they are full of worms and disease. if you want the ethical treatment of these animals people should stop eating them like me. i stopped eating pork over 10 years and feel great, healthy. Still its hard for me, a non pork eater, to sympathy for them. i guess they are not my favorite animals like gorillas are. i like gorillas and care about their welfare in the jungles.

om gentle and loving. Those crates ate there to protect piglets from their own mothers. Sows are known to kill and eat their own babies, or even intentionally crush them to death. They dock their tails and tusks because they are notorious for injuring each other and chewing each others tails. They will often eat other pigs ALIVE. I work on a hog farm, and the truth about these animals is disturbing. It gets to you, some people more than others.
