@punkbloater Yes, I think I heard "replica" in the audio. Would be nice if they'd retitle the video to remove "Porsche" if it's really a kit.

Rough translation: He says its a '55 Porsche Speedster Replica that he build himself in 1991. It took him 4 years to build. Goal was to make it as original as possible, hence the original porsche parts and even an original 1600 4 cilinder Porsche engine. Handmade leather also came from Germany. It has a (Belgian) '80's Apal body and the car is based on a (37 cm) shortened 1970 VW Bug chassis. Total costs where almost the price of an original....but he owns his own lawfirm so more power to him!

Look at the parts. Dash mounted ignition, genuine porsche engine, correct wheels, correct door handles, dials and another giveaway is the distance between the headlights and the indicators. Real speedsters have much less of a gap than replicas. Everything points to this being a real one. Shame we cant see the handbrake cos that would REALLY give it away!!! If it is a replica, someones really paid attention to detail on this.
