VeRITable is a novel Tangible User Interface (TUI) which integrates the interaction using tangible objects and back projected visualization into the same working space. The tangible object is used as a camera in the appartment plan and is possible to navigate into it, using a magnet with an ARToolkit marker pasted on it. The table orientation can be changed, but in the sample was always in vertical position. It's the first prototype of the development of VeRITable and the development of simple interaction techniques over it.

An usability evaluation was made comparing the interaction and visualization using traditional systems, such as laptop mouse and screen, with VeRITable. The results show some important details about the future work with the TUI and the adequate useness of these type of interfaces to do some specific interaction techniques to be kept in mind in the design and development of applications.

VeRITable was designed in COLIVRI Lab. in Universidad de los Andes-Bogotá, Colombia. Imagine Research Group
