I was the same way for years until someone else told me how easy it was. It's a good idea to test there mood by GENTLY touching a pencil to one of the back legs... after doing it a few times.. they will realize it's not food touching their leg. I don't pick them up.. i manuever them to walk onto my hand. putting my hand flat in front on her and tapping the back legs GENTLY left and right to control her direction.

I've never been bit by her..(she hasn't ever put her back end up though) try something other than your hand the first few times, get used to moving the tarantula in the direction you want, and then try your hand. hope that helps.. Thanks for watching.
