The man made a dash to Botswana as soon as he crossed the hospital door. Did not even bury his wife. Why was he on such a rush? Because he knows that it was not an "accident".
Car accidents are a famous tool of a political murder in Zimbabwe. During election campaign of 1990 ZANU went as far as broadcasting a video clip on the national TV that showed a gruesome car accident. "This is the one way to die" - said the voice of the narrator, "Don't commit suicide, vote ZANU-PF and live".

God Bless Mr Tsvangirai. He has sacrificed so much for Zimbabwe. My heart goes out to him at this terrible time.
