Anime is an abomination
-
it's like they converted x men to anime.

@TheM4vtch Its not really a rubber jet effect since the jets nose is actually built like that. I think the angle of the plane at some points like in the last frame obscure the sight of the curve

1:25 what the mothefuck did I just saw Cyclops blast the shit out of Krakatoa the living Island?!XD

@dbzmagus yes i do miss the music it was extremly catchy while i do lovethe north american intro and very much enjoy the way they introduced each char an there abilities, i like the animation for this intro an wish the whole series not jus the intro looked like this, the characters look sumwhat awkward sumtimes in the american version i enjoy the rubber jet effect for sum reason lol an this version reminds me of the jim lee joe mad 1990s comics i wish the japanse wldve made there own version-

Much better than the other Japanese intro, which was just loud, annoying, and seizure inducing. I like some of the artsy stuff they did with the Jean,Cyclops, and Wolverine love triangle (though the camera stays on them for too long afterwards). But this still pales in comparison to the classic North American intro. The rubber jet effect, and the lack of that iconic music and character introductions hurts this version. The American version also eludes to the racism theme, via Jubilee's scene.

- wolverine slices and it fades into jean and cyclops, the black bird looks like its alive, all the characters look spot on like there from a jim lee or joe madriera 1990s xmen comic book, the ending sequence of cyclops pulling off an optic blast and there ending pose is the icing on the cake for me, (looks like a cartoon ripped out of "Capcoms" X-Men VS Capcom or Marvel Vs Capcom series) i enjoyed this very much and although the american version of xmen is my all time favorite toon and nostalg-

This opening is good and in no way smoldered the good X-men reputation.
While american version focused on awesome bad ass soundtrack building to a climax, the Japanese version focused on action and and duel encounters. Both are completely different but both are awesome
