I hope he doesn't run. Ed is awesome at MSNBC, and he's a great representative of the middle-class. You can tell he really cares, and he's one of those guys that pulled himself up from his bootstraps. Besides, politicians are all corrupt individuals, and we need more people in the media calling them out, and that's what he does so well. He may be a bit of a hothead sometimes, too, but that's passion for you.

This idiot was run out of his home state and voted most hated person in that state...then he gets in a scrap with a nonfan at a stadium, then he goes to communist air america where his ratings were in the toilet,and he helps them go bankrupt,after denying that he was hired by the DNC,then later admits only for the first year or so,then helps bring down msnbc to the lowest tv ratings ever...and this clown thinks he could get elected? what a worthless idiot!!!!

I'm happy for Ed and congratulate him on being seriously considered by the Democratic Party leadership for their support to run for the Senate.
The fact that he considers his present position at MSNBC and the weight of his professional accomplishments as a counter balance says a lot about Mr. Shultz integrity as a Broadcast Journalist, also.
