Pima Community College Social Service Students held an event named Winter Warm-Up 2011. This was a free event to provide clothing, food, and information about available services to the current Tucson population that are homeless. This event was held December 3, 2011 at Santa Rita Park, 401 E. 22nd St. Tucson, AZ.
Exhibitors that joined efforts with PCC included La Frontera, Southern AZ VA Substance and homeless program, Compass Behavioral Health Care, Sullivan Jackson Employment Center, Our Family Services, A New Hope for Tucson Foundation, Inc, Alcoholics Anonymous, Kool Smiles, Desert Son Community Church, Wings for Women, and CODAC Behavioral Health.
Special Thanks to everyone who contributed to making this event a huge success!
