Short footage of one company that hasn't been on film in over 2 or 3 years. I saw many trucks where I filmed this, but this truck however was the only one I managed to film. And my apologies for bad angles and short video.

NOTE: Just wanted to let you all know that LUISP1957 hasn't totally disappeared. He recently faved many newer vids on YouTube from various users in our community. He just isn't uploading or commenting. But he's still here, alive, and kickin' it.

The whole city is pure 3rd generation Roto. CalMet has been buying Otto Edge but I haven't seen any of them in any city other than Pico Rivera. And you know how it always goes with carts:

Mostly 96 gal; then 65 gal; and then only a few 35 gal. OH NO NO NO NO NOOOO. In Cerritos, you'll say "The tables have turned". There's actually more 35 gals than 65 gals.

Anyway, comment, rate, etc.

Filming date: 25th August, 2011
Filming location: Cerritos, CA.
Camera used: Canon FS10

  • Nice Footage! It has the same sound as an LA Elliptical! There is another city that I know that has the same carts. Its Lomita, CA. But they don't have CNG Amrep Ellipticals instead they have LNG Volvo Amrep Asls. Nice Work! Hope to see more!

  • @GarbageKid808

Thanks. Do you know of any specific routes where the trucks operate?

  • Wow for CNG this sounds a remarkably lot like city of LA! Their diesel trucks, even. Or is there some way the tank on the top could be LNG?? You're right this company hasn't been filmed in ages!! Good fleet though, they had some nice older trucks in the past (idk so much about now), a lot of their routes are going auto like everybody of course. But they were one of those last few who switched some cities later...is greens in Pico Rivera still manual? Can't remember but anyways enjoyed the video!

  • @Trashman242

Glad you enjoyed it. Yes it does sound like LA, for a CNG truck. This route went auto back in 2007. And unfortunately, Pico Rivera is now automated green waste. They rolled out FA Otto Edge a few months ago.

  • I like your intro ;) I wonder where you got the idea. Lmao Jk. Nice to see them buying Pete! It sounds like an L.A. Elliptical. Like/Fav

  • @trashmaster684

LOL my bad. I believe this is all they're buying now. All the older trucks have been moved to other cities.

  • @RainbowDisposal yeah CR&R can get innoying with their no flipping lid rule, rotos are cooler when their lids are being flipped.
