Basically the story behond this one is that Eclaire loves Tamaki and he doesn't love her back. It's a bittersweet unrequitted love. So she decides to give up on love because it hurts too much.The 'Wreck of the day' is supposed to be Tamaki going to Haruhi instead of her.

i never hated eclair, i hated haruhi because she tore the host club apart and she was the reason people hated eclair. they saw tamaki and haruhi's love for eachother and never thought of the feelings eclair must have had for him, and how awful it must feel to be that misunderstood. fuck you haruhi...
