My son's marching band in 1996 played HAVE YOU HEARD, LETTER FROM HOME AND MINUANO in band competitions in Southern California, the west and nationally. They won most of their competitions because of their artistry, and this wonderful music that they performed brilliantly. Pat Metheny is an inspiration to all that love music. He is one of the all time greats I have ever heard. This music penetrates my soul and it makes my cry it is so beautiful. There is nothing like it!

@jazzassin well that point is well taken ... but I do recognize him as the king of guitar in my book! If I could play 1/4 this good (which I absolutely can not) I would still be better that 99.99999999 percent of the other people who are playing the instrument.
