I sent $200 every month to Prabakaran for the last 10 years totaling $24,000. What happened to all of them? I can build a new house in the North for that money. SLA please dont break all the buildings and the houses. When the war is over Canada will pack all the refugees back to Sri Lanka. We have to come back to Sri Lanka and live in the North.

Those who pinned their hopes on Prabhakaran are in the same predicament as the Golden Key depositors. Prabhakaran has ruined his enterprise in which they had invested heavily, through his sheer mismanagement, temerariouness and hubris. The LTTE were thus living in the lap of luxury, protected by the ordinary people's progeny forcibly recruited as child soldiers. Instead of roses and toys those hapless children were given cyanide capsules or 'kuppis' to wear round their necks and AK47 rifeles!

well said. so many tamil people want the sinhalese gvt punished for making the tamils vulnarable, attacked and violated as in the 83 riots. times may have changed in the 23 years or so but what the unprotected tamils built the ltte and the need is something u can't goback on. once u r attacked there is no need to wait for another attack. remember if not for the international world ur 83 might have more incidents. remember this happened in colombo. living among so called fellow sinhalese.
