Nguyen Trai family shrine/treehouse, Quang Nam Da Nang Dien Ban (Nha tho toc Nguyen Trai)

Even though according to accounts genocide was committed upon 4 generations of the Nguyen Trai family after it was ruled that he had plotted regicide against Emperor Le Thanh Tong (which was later declared false), it is not known how many managed to secretly flee,hide or change their identities. Where this particular shrine sits is where one of his direct descendants (Nguyen Huu Cong) settled down in the 1860s. However,many of his descendants now live overseas.
There is also one branch connected to this one in Saigon/Ho Chi Minh city.The main one is located in Con Son,North Vietnam.
