Alana's Story - Waiting for a Miracle

Alana Sanchez is a 19 month old little girl battling Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), a form of cancer. On Febraury 25, 2011 Alana lost her battle with cancer. She is now peaceful and without suffering.

My heart goes out to you. It's unspeakably sad when an innocent child gets a terrible disease and dies. I hope Alana's beautiful memory will be with you forever. I can't relate to your faith in God--for me, the very fact that children get cancer when an all-powerful, loving God could instantly cure them if He wanted to proves that no such all-powerful, loving God exists. But people are different, and I'm glad you're deriving comfort from your faith.

i hate leukemia and i am so lucky i didnt have it i still got a serious disease but i now that she is a much better place now with no pain and i am sure she is safe with god up in heaven <3 all my love goes to all the familys out there battling with leukemia i defently know i would just give up with it i have diabetes and i could have had leukemia.............. THIS BRINGS MANY TEARS TO MY EYES

I wont tell u she is in a better place now, even though its true, cause i know u want her here w/ u!! I wont tell u i know how u feel, it hurts ME so much, i could not imagine how u feel, I know u dont wanna hear someday u will see her again because u cant see beyond today but u will hear her voice and see her face again.
