I bought one for my 7 year old son and it is definitely to hard for him to fly. I have spent several hours practicing and I can barely keep it flying inside for more than 10 seconds before crashing. Outside any wind over like 3 mph blows this thing far off course. I got it about 30 feet in the air in the middle of my yard and a gust came along and it carried over about 150 feet into the neighbors yard. It is cool but I found it very hard to operate.
