It looks nice, but i dont get in what order you painted it?
I understand that you painted it white first. Then taped over the stripes (wich would come out white), and then you painted it all red. After that you took the tape of so you had the white stripes, and then you taped it up again to get the black stripes - is that the way you did? :)

Started with all white, taped up the white stripes then sprayed red.
then i had to tape up the red and spray the white again.
started black...then had a few touch ups with each colour. It was pretty hard, but it was worth it.

i know this guy...tcherassi1.....omg he painted his guitar and he worked so fukin hard like every day for 26 days...sanding the guitar..painting..cutting out tapes to make it be like the original franky as much as he could...and then he even added up his own stuff in the guitar..and painted the neck..all out of his head...and its a beatiful guitar...he has a video of it...check out his channel for it..

I had this guitar a long time and just got back from edmonton alberta, no job, nothing to do. so I started painting it.
that guy did a lot of sanding dude!
that original paint is really hard to sand off
