@98yourface No they don't have to be grown next to a support. Blueberries are nice little shrubs that stay upright on their own.

Great video, I'm just beginning to research how to plant blueberries. I never did any gardening in my life and I want to start with a container variety blueberry bush. I am looking at some dwarf types for zones 3 and found this video truly helpful with the soil mixing.and pruning, mulching, fertilizing, I hope I can do all that in a container!

@lycheesack Thank you so much! If you want a good, dwarf cultivar, hardy to zone 3 check out the "Top Hat" blueberry on our website. These little bushes are a favorite for container growing, but blueberries in general are adaptable to container culture.
